Description:
Spiny shrub to 1.5 m high. Thick, fleshy. White to lilac flowers. Mainly spring to summer. Red berries.
Natural Distribution:
Common to mallee and northern arid areas in most mainland agricultural districts of SA. Also occurs in WA, NSW and Vic.
Notes:
Endangered in Southern Lofty region. Similar to introduced weed African Boxthorn (Lycium ferocissimum).
