Description:
Low, scrambling, perennial plant to 10 cm high. Narrow to broadly triangular, 1-3 cm long. Inconspicuous flowers in panicles, 2-4 cm long. Mainly winter to spring. Small, red, fleshy berries. Summer.
Natural Distribution:
Common to coastal, woodland and mallee areas in all agricultural districts of SA. In all other States and Territories.
Notes:
Two subspecies recorded in SA.
