Description:
Low perennial shrub to 30 cm high. Fleshy, crowded, greenish with a purple tinge, 0.5-2 cm long. Small, inconspicuous flowers. Small, red berries. Winter to late spring.
Natural Distribution:
Common to coastal areas, estuaries and inland saline wetlands in all agricultural districts of SA. Also occurs in WA, Vic and Tas.
