Description:
Erect, rigid sedge, 1-1.5 m high. Long, flat, broad, sharply pointed, to 1 m long by 2 cm wide. Flowers in dense, thick, brown panicles, 4-15 cm long. Throughout the year.
Natural Distribution:
Common to sandy soils in low-lying areas of coastal dunes in most agricultural districts of SA. In most other States (not NT or Qld).
Notes:
Recorded as uncommon in the Southern Lofty region.
