Description:
Low, mat-forming shrub to 40 cm wide and 30 cm high. Crowded, blue-green leaves to 1.5 cm long, pointed tips Bright red, tubular flowers to 1 cm long. Throughout the year. Small, white, rounded, edible berries. Winter to spring.
Natural Distribution:
Common to coastal, woodland, mallee and grassland areas in all agricultural districts of SA. Also occurs in WA, NSW, Vic and Tas.
Notes:
Recorded as uncommon in the Yorke Peninsula region.
