Description:
Tough, clumping perennial plant to 50 cm high and wide. Long, flat, rigid, dull green, to 50 cm long with rounded tips. Small, yellow-brown flowers, in branched clusters at base of plant. Male and female flowers form on separate plants. Late winter to spring. Capsules. Summer.
Natural Distribution:
Common to temperate forests, woodlands and grasslands in most mainland agricultural districts of SA. Also occurs in NSW.
