Description:
Low, prickly, perennial shrub to 60 cm high. Fleshy, slender, 2-3 cm long, with long sharp spines to 3 cm long. Early autumn to spring. Early autumn to spring.
Natural Distribution:
Common to stony soils of lower rainfall mallee and northern arid plant communities in SA. Also occurs in NT, Qld and NSW.
Notes:
Many similar Sclerolaena species occur.
