Description:
Erect, spreading, multi-stemmed shrub, 2-4 m high. Narrow, long, linear-lanceolate, 3-9 cm long by 1-4 mm wide, upper surface green sticky and dotted with glands, paler beneath, leaf margins irregular. Small, inconspicuous, in clusters at end of branchlets. Male and female flowers on separate plants. Spring to early summer (September to January). 3-4-winged, papery capsule, reddish to tan (mature), with small black seeds. Summer (December to February).

Occurs throughout the central to northern lower rainfall parts of SA. Extends into WA, NT, Qld, NSW and Vic. Common to mallee and northern arid areas.
