Description:
Slender perennial herb with erect stems to 50 cm high. Upright, wiry branches. Narrow, 0.5-2 cm long, sparsely arranged along the stem. Light blue, dark blue streaks, 5-petalled flower. Spring. Round, papery seed capsule with flat, pale brown seeds.
Natural Distribution:
Common to temperate forests, woodlands and grasslands in all mainland agricultural districts of SA. In all other States except NT.
Notes:
Not common in grazed areas. Recorded as uncommon in Murray and Northern Lofty regions.
