Description:
Low, rigid shrub to 1 m high. Dark green, smooth, shiny leaves, sharply pointed. Insignificant, pale green flowers, often grouped below the leaves. Winter to spring. Red, round, fleshy frutis. Late spring to summer.
Natural Distribution:
Common to coastal and lower rainfall mallee areas in all agricultural districts of SA. Also occurs in WA.
Notes:
Conservation status recorded as rare in the Murray, Northern Lofty and Southern Lofty regions.
