Description:
Low herb with stems along the ground, to 8 cm in diameter. Spoon-shaped, dark green, shiny in a basal rosette. Creamy-yellow with pinkish tips, woolly, egg-shaped to cylindrical spikes. Winter to early autumn.
Natural Distribution:
Common to temperate woodlands, mallee and grasslands in all agricultural districts of SA. Also occurs in WA, NSW, Vic and Tas.
Notes:
Recorded as rare in the Southern Lofty region.
