Prickly perennial shrub with hairy stems to 50 cm high. Spines to 1 cm long. Rounded lobes, wavy-edged, 1-7 cm long by 2 cm wide. Purple flowers. Spring.
Natural Distribution:
Common to northern arid areas in SA. Also occurs in WA, NT and NSW.
Notes:
A relatively common plant of low rainfall regions. No conservation status recorded.
