Description:
Low, fleshy groundcover with stems to 1 m long. Cylindrical, succulent, green to reddish, 2-3 cm long. Purple, showy flowers, 2-5 cm diameter. Spring to summer. Late summer.
Natural Distribution:
Common to coastal, saline and floodplain areas in all agricultural districts of SA. Also occurs in WA, Qld, NSW, Vic and Tas.
