Description:
Low shrub with woolly stems to 1 m high. Narrow, cylindrical, succulent, finely hairy, 1-2 cm long. Insignificant flowers. Spring. Edible, colourful (red, green, yellow), fleshy berries. Summer to autumn.
Natural Distribution:
Common to a wide range of vegetation types in all agricultural districts of SA. Also occurs in WA, NT, Qld, NSW and Vic.
