Description:
Small perennial herb, 10-40 cm high. Multiple, unbranched stems erect, wiry, hairy. Narrow, lanceolate-shape, 1-3 cm long by 2-5 mm wide. Slightly hairy above with thick, white hairs below and rolled-over leaf edges. Bright yellow to orange yellow, small, button-shaped flowers with no petals. Bracts below the flower heads have dark brown tips. Spring to summer.

Common to clay-loam or sandy soils of forests, woodlands and grasslands in all agricultural districts of SA. Also in NSW, Vic and Tas.
