Description:
Small shrub with densely hairy branches, 0.3-1 m high. Very small, narrow, densely clustered, 1-6 mm long by 1 mm wide. Dark red, pink or orange flowers. Winter to early summer.
Natural Distribution:
Common to sands, sandstone outcrops or calcareous soils of mallee areas in agricultural districts of SA. Also occurs in Qld, NSW and Vic.
Notes:
Rare or endangered in the Southern Lofty, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island and South-East regions.
