Description:
Clumping perennial plant to 50 cm high. Stiff, rigid, twisted to 80 cm long, 2 distinctive 'horns' on leaf tip. White to pale pink, scented flowers, in branched clusters at base of plant. Late autumn to mid spring.
Natural Distribution:
Common to coastal, woodland, grassland and mallee areas in all mainland agricultural districts of SA. In other States except NT.
Notes:
Common in drier areas of the northern agricultural districts of SA, where it can be seen in large numbers on non-arable ground. Recorded as rare in the Southern Lofty region.
