Description:
Dark green, spreading, low to medium shrub, 1-2 m high to 3 m wide. Shiny, dark green above, lighter-coloured below, firm, rounded, 2-4 cm long by 1-2 cm wide. Tubular, white flower, with 5 sideways-twisted lobes. Spring to summer (October to February). Orange to reddish, rounded drupe (turning black), 0.5-1 cm long. Late summer to autumn (February to April).

Natural Distribution:
Occurs on exposed coastal cliffs and adjacent inland areas (never far from the coast) in all agricultural districts of SA. Extends into WA, NSW, Vic and Tas. Common to coastal areas.
