Description:
Prickly, low shrub. Branches woolly, bluish-grey with sharp spines. Small, yellow flower heads. Throughout the year.
Natural Distribution:
Extremely rare, endemic species. Restricted to only five known individuals in the Northern Lofty region.
Notes:
Recorded as endangered in Northern Lofty and extinct in Murray. Previously presumed extinct in Northern Lofty until rediscovered in 1999. Nationally endangered.
