Description:
Green, erect shrub, 2-4 m high. Bright green, shiny, sticky, linear to wedge-shaped, often with a short point, 4-8 cm long by 5-15 mm wide, with distinct lateral veins and glands. Small, inconspicuous flowers, to 3 mm, in clusters at the end of branchlets. Spring to early summer (September to December). 3-4-winged, papery capsule, turning reddish-brown in colour, containing small black rounded seeds. Summer (December to February).
