Description:
Summer growing, prostrate, perennial herb to 15 cm high, sometimes up to 1 m in length, with a stout taproot. Wiry stems. Dark green, oblong, pale underside. Tiny, pink flowers on long stalks. Fruits are pear-shaped and sticky.
Natural Distribution:
Found in grasslands, shrublands and woodlands.
Notes:
Widespread on bare ground, such as around sheep yards and roadsides, and is very palatable to livestock.
