Description:
Erect shrub with hairy branches to 1 m high. Wedge-shape, flat or folded with a pair of small spines at leaf base, in groups of 3, to 1 cm long by 0.5 cm wide. Orange, pea-shape flowers with red markings. Winter to spring. Summer.
Natural Distribution:
Common to higher rainfall temperate forests and woodlands in SA. Also in NSW and Vic.
Notes:
Conservation status recorded as rare in Eyre Peninsula and Murray and uncommon in the Northern Lofty region.
