Description:
Variable, often spindly shrub, to 1.5 m high, with cottony stems and foliage. Aromatic (when crushed), narrow, linear, sessile, crowded along branchlets, 0.5-1.5 cm long by 0.1-0.2 cm wide, white hairy underneath with distinct mid vein, commonly with rolled-over margins. Small, white (or pink to pale blue), daisy-like flowers, in leaf axils along branchlets. Most of the year, commonly September to May. Small, seed (1 mm long), whitish bristles attached (3 mm long).

Natural Distribution:
Widely distributed throughout mallee, woodlands and coastal scrub in most agricultural districts of SA (absent from Murray region). Also occurs in WA, Qld, NSW, Vic and Tas.
