Description:
Rigid shrub to 1.5 m high. Sharply pointed, angled, 1-5 cm long, arranged in a 'zig-zag' shape. Yellow, red markings, pea-shape flower. Spring. Dark brown, triangular pod.
Natural Distribution:
A rare plant of temperate woodlands in the EP, SE and SL regions. Also occurs in Vic.
Notes:
Rare in SA. Recorded as regionally rare on Eyre Peninsula and endangered in the South-East and Southern Lofty regions.
